DESCRIPTION:<p>The Philosophy Departments of Columbia University and New York University invite graduate students to submit papers for the 25th Annual Columbia-NYU Graduate Philosophy Conference to be held&nbsp\;on <strong>April 19\, 2025.&nbsp\;</strong>Submissions in all areas of philosophy are welcome.*&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The keynote speaker for this event is&nbsp\;<strong>A. J. Julius (UCLA)</strong>.</p>\n<p><br>Papers submitted should be:</p>\n<p>(1)&nbsp\;<strong>3\,000 to 5\,000 words</strong>&nbsp\;in length with an abstract of 200-300 words and suitable for a presentation of 30 to 40 minutes.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>(2) Prepared for&nbsp\;<strong>blind review </strong>(no names or other identifying information) and in&nbsp\;<strong>PDF format</strong>.</p>\n<p>(3) Accompanied by a&nbsp\;<strong>separate cover sheet</strong>&nbsp\;with the author's name\, pronouns\, home institution\, contact information\, topic area(s) of the paper\, and the title of the paper.</p>\n<p>Submissions should be sent to <a href="http://tinyurl.com/philgradconf2025">tinyurl.com/philgradconf2025</a>. The <strong>extended deadline</strong> for submissions is now&nbsp\;<strong>February 3\, 2025\, 11.59pm</strong>.
