DESCRIPTION:<p>We are pleased to announce the first King&rsquo\;s College London (KCL) Political Theory Graduate Conference on April 25\, 2025. The conference will feature a keynote from Professor&nbsp\;Simone Chambers\, Department of Political Science\, University of California Irvine.</p>\n<p>We invite submissions from graduate students in political theory and adjacent disciplines\, including but not limited to political philosophy\, social and critical theory\, history of political thoughts\, and comparative political theory. We particularly encourage papers related to democratic theory and practice in challenging times. Panellists will present to and receive feedback from peers\, KCL faculty members and the wider London political theory community. The conference will be held entirely in person.</p>\n<p>Interested applicants should send an anonymised abstract of no more than 500 words via the form below&nbsp\;by 11.59 pm (GMT) on&nbsp\;<strong>February 3\, 2025</strong>. We will notify all successful applicants by&nbsp\;<strong>March 3\, 2025</strong>.</p>\n<p>Those who wish to register as participants without presenting are also welcome to sign up. Applicants should include the necessary information in the application form if an invitation is required to facilitate arrangements through their home departments. Applicants are responsible for their own travel\, accommodation\, and any additional expenses incurred while attending the conference. Free catering will be provided during coffee breaks and lunch.</p>\n<p>The full programme will be made available to participants shortly before the event.
