Through our international organizing team and graduate student-led network of autonomous chapters worldwide\, MAP aims to dismantle mechanisms that exclude students from marginalized backgrounds\, promote philosophical work from marginalized perspectives\, and improve working conditions for scholars from underrepresented groups.&nbsp\;</p>\n\n\n<p>MAP @ Duquesne invites philosophers who are PhD students/candidates\, postdoctoral scholars\, or early-career academics from underrepresented groups in philosophy to present their work. We welcome talks on topics related (but not limited) to race\, gender\, disability\, oppression\, bias\, post-coloniality\, and discrimination. Sessions will take place at the end of Jan\, Feb\, and March&nbsp\;</p>\n
