DESCRIPTION:<p>The deadline for submissions has been extended to January 31\, 2025!</p>\n<p>We invite submissions on any historical or contemporary topic\, from either a scientific or philosophical perspective\, regarding complexity\, emergence\, or supervenience. Aiming for both depth and breadth\, we welcome cutting-edge work at any level of specificity or generality.</p>\n<p>Faculty are invited to submit an abstract (1000 words max). Graduate students are invited to submit full papers of 3000-4000 words. All submissions should be prepared for blind review and should be suitable for a 30-minute presentation. Submissions are due <strong>January 31\, 2025\,</strong> and should be sent as an email attachment in pdf format to heather.demarest@colorado.edu. &nbsp\;Acceptances will be announced by <strong>February 15\, 2025</strong>.
