DESCRIPTION:<p>Medieval scholastic philosophers at the universities of Paris and Oxford\, from 1200 to 1350\, engaged in complex discussions about the nature of conscious experience. This conference aims to connect insights and arguments from medieval texts to contemporary philosophical discussions on consciousness.</p>\n<p>The first conference took place in August 2024 at Loyola University\, Chicago.</p>\n<p>The follow-up conference will be held from March 11-13\, 2025\, at the University of W&uuml\;rzburg\, Germany. It will feature lectures and discussions based on pre-circulated papers.</p>
