DESCRIPTION:<p>We are excited to announce our upcoming conference will be held in Edinburgh\, on 4-6 September 2025. We will be featuring presentations on all subfields and aspects of Japanese philosophical thought\, addressing\, but not limited to\, the announced topic of the conference\, which is &ldquo\;Webs of Kinship: Exploring Environmental Ethics in Japanese Philosophy&rdquo\; which will be broadly construed\, but focusing on themes of environmental philosophy and animal ethics. Three keynotes and panel presentations will be complemented by a roundtable discussion on the subject of translating and publishing Japanese philosophical texts and book presentations featuring new scholarship on Japanese philosophy\, followed by presenting the ENOJP annual book prize.</p>\n<p>Further details will be announced soon.</p>\n<p>Please direct any enquires to the organisers enojp2025@gmail.com</p>
