DESCRIPTION:<p><em>Labyrinth: An International Journal for Philosophy\, Value Theory and Sociocultural Hermeneutics</em>&nbsp\;is preparing a special issue on the occasion of the 30th death anniversary of Emmanuel Levinas (1906-1995). Of particular interest are new readings and discussions dealing with the main topics of his philosophy\, as for example:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Levinas and contemporary debates of the Other(ness) and the Alien</li>\n<li>Levinas contributions to ethics</li>\n<li>Levinas on vulnerability and responsibility</li>\n<li>Levinas and Jewish thought</li>\n<li>Levinas religion\, and the question of God</li>\n<li>The Buber &ndash\; Levinas dialogue</li>\n<li>Levinas and phenomenology (Husserl\, Heidegger\, Sartre\, Merleau-Ponty\, Ricoeur)</li>\n<li>Levinas and deconstruction</li>\n<li>Levinas\, humanism and posthumanism</li>\n<li>Levinas and feminist critique</li>\n<li>Levinas and the political</li>\n<li>Levinas\, art and esthetic experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Scholars working in the field of Levinas' philosophy are invited to submit a brief abstract until April 20th\, 2025 with a brief bio-bibliographic information including: name\, academic degree\, academic position\, academic affiliation\, and 5-7 main publications.</p>\n<p>Authors who have already a finished unpublished paper are welcome to submit it within the abstract.
