DESCRIPTION:<p>Duke Political Science invites submissions from early career researchers and later-year (ABD) graduate students for an upcoming Frontiers Workshop in Democratic Theory at Duke University on<strong>&nbsp\;</strong><strong>May 15-16\, 2025</strong>.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Frontiers Workshops bring together small groups of scholars whose research is situated at the cutting edge of the field.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>This workshop will focus on core questions in democratic theory. We particularly encourage submissions that contribute to political philosophy by attending to empirical evidence and/or methods. The workshop already has confirmed participation from leading scholars in democratic theory.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Participants will have the opportunity to present their work to a community of scholars who are at the forefront of the field\, as well as receive in-depth feedback from a dedicated discussant. Participants will have the costs of their attendance covered\, including travel\, lodging\, and meals during the workshop.</p>\n<p>Please send your CV\, together with a completed paper or abstract of up to 1500 words to&nbsp\;demfrontiersduke@gmail.com.</p>\n<p>The deadline for submission is&nbsp\;<strong>Monday\, February 10\, 2025.</strong></p>
