DESCRIPTION:<p><strong><u>General Information</u>:</strong></p>\n<p>The Texas Tech University Philosophy Graduate Student Association announces a call for papers for its 8th annual graduate student conference\, to be held April 4 - 5\, 2014 in Lubbock\, Texas. The topic for this conference is <strong>epistemology</strong>.</p>\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Possible Funding</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<p>A small stipend may be awarded to some presenters to reduce the cost of travel.</p>\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Submission Details</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<p>Submissions from current graduate students in any area of epistemology are welcome\, but those dealing with virtue epistemology are particularly encouraged. &nbsp\;</p>\n\n<p>Abstracts may not exceed <strong>300 words</strong>.&nbsp\; Papers should be <strong>between</strong>&nbsp\;<strong>3\,000 and 3\,500 words</strong>.&nbsp\; All abstracts and papers should be prepared for blind review.&nbsp\; Include with each submission a separate document containing the presenter&rsquo\;s <strong>name</strong>\,<strong> institution</strong>\, <strong>e-mail address\, </strong>and<strong> paper title</strong>.&nbsp\; Submissions may be in <strong>.PDF</strong>\, <strong>.docx</strong> or <strong>.doc</strong> format.&nbsp\; </p>\n\n<p>Abstracts are due <strong><em>Saturday\, February 22nd\, 2014</em></strong>.&nbsp\; &nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n\n<p>All submissions should be sent to Daryk Scott (daryk.scott@ttu.edu).&nbsp\; Students who have submitted abstracts shall receive a notification of acceptance by <strong><em>Saturday\, March 1st\, 2014</em></strong>.</p>\n\n<p>Full papers must be submitted for review by<strong><em> Friday\, March 14th\, 2014</em></strong>.</p>\n\n<p>Please e-mail either Daryk Scott or Nathan Hoofard (nathan.hoofard@ttu.edu) with any questions related to the conference.</p>\n
