DESCRIPTION:<p>Keynote Speakers (among others)<br> Michael Gazzaniga<br> Diego Marconi<br> Laura Boella<br> Michele Di Francesco<br> Pierre Jacob<br> Tania Singer<br> Karsten Stueber<br> <br> <br> Conference Topics<br> <br> Contributions will be considered for presentation insofar as they deal with topics broadly related to neuroethics\, such as the applications and the philosophical\, social\, medical\, psychological\, legal\, economic\, and political consequences of research in neuroscience and in cognitive sciences. Contributions can be experimental\, theoretical\, analytical\, or critical works.</p>\n<p>Submission Guidelines and Attendance<br> <br> Participants can only send one contribution as first authors\, but they can appear as second authors of other contributions.<br> Abstracts must be submitted to <a href="mailto:convegno@societadineuroetica.it">convegno@societadineuroetica.it</a>\, in either .doc or .pdf format. Any request of information should be sent to the same e-mail address.<br> Abstracts must be ready for blind review.<br> The submission file must contain only the title of the contribution\, the abstract and the references. &nbsp\;Abstracts should not exceed 500 words\, plus 10 references records\, which will not be considered in the words count.<br> Abstracts can be written either in Italian or in English\, according to the language chosen for the paper.<br> <br> In the text of the e-mail authors should indicate their personal information:<br> - &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; name and family name\;<br> - &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; affiliation (if any)\;<br> - &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; areas of interest\;<br> - &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; title of the paper\;<br> - &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; e-mail address\;<br> - &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; phone number.<br> <br> Deadlines and Reviewing Process<br> <br> The deadline for abstract submission is April 10th\, 2014.<br> <br> Abstracts will be subject to blind review. The Scientific Committee will be selected from members of the Italian Society for Neuroethics (<a target="_blank">http://societadineuroetica.it/</a>).<br> <br> Accepted papers will have 25 minutes for presentation\, plus 10 minutes for discussion.<br> <br> All authors of selected papers\, if attending\, will have to subscribe to the Conference.
