DESCRIPTION:<p>The&nbsp\;Enhancement&nbsp\;Project&nbsp\;(FFI2012-32565)&nbsp\;organizes&nbsp\;an international workshop on contemporary debates&nbsp\;in&nbsp\;bioethics&nbsp\;and\, specifically\,&nbsp\;enhancement of&nbsp\;human capabilities.&nbsp\;The meeting will take place&nbsp\;inGranada&nbsp\;the&nbsp\;16th and&nbsp\;17th of June\, 2014.</p>\n<p>The first edition of this workshop was held in&nbsp\;Granada&nbsp\;on&nbsp\;February 2010. Several&nbsp\;researchers from different&nbsp\;universities&nbsp\;debated&nbsp\;then with Prof.&nbsp\;Julian&nbsp\;Savulescu (Uehiro&nbsp\;Centre&nbsp\;for Practical&nbsp\;Ethics\,&nbsp\;University ofOxford)&nbsp\;on the ethical and&nbsp\;political aspects of&nbsp\;enhancement technologies&nbsp\;in human beings.&nbsp\;The invited speakers to this II International Workshop are&nbsp\;<strong>Julian</strong><strong>&nbsp\;Savulescu</strong>\,&nbsp\;<strong>Guy</strong><strong>&nbsp\;Kahane&nbsp\;</strong>(Uehiro&nbsp\;Centre&nbsp\;for PracticalEthics\,&nbsp\;University of&nbsp\;Oxford) and&nbsp\;<strong>Andy</strong><strong>&nbsp\;Miah</strong>&nbsp\;(Creative&nbsp\;Futures&nbsp\;Research&nbsp\;Centre\,&nbsp\;University&nbsp\;of the West&nbsp\;of Scotland).</p>\n<p>For inquiries\, please&nbsp\;email to</p>\n<p><a target="_blank">granadaenhance@gmail.com</a></p>\n<p>Registration&nbsp\;is free.&nbsp\;The University of Granada and the Spanish Government sponsor this event.</p>
