DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Call for Abstracts</strong></p>\n<p>The Richard Rorty Society invites submissions for its fourth meeting on the theme of&nbsp\;<strong><em>Philosophy\, Democracy and Conversation </em></strong>or any aspect of his life and work. The meeting will be held December 3-5\, 2025\, at the Facultad de Filosof&iacute\;a y Letras\, Universidad de Buenos Aires\, Argentina.<strong><em></em></strong></p>\n<p>Our keynote speakers will be&nbsp\;<strong>Susana de Castro </strong>(Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro\, Brasil)\, <strong>Susan Dieleman </strong>(University of Lethbridge\, Canada) and <strong>Michael Williams</strong> (Johns Hopkins University\, USA).</p>\n<p>There will be no registration fee for the conference.</p>\n<p><strong>Submission Guidelines:</strong></p>\n<p>Send an email to&nbsp\;<a href="mailto:info@richardrortysociety.org">info@richardrortysociety.org</a>&nbsp\;with the following information included in a single Word or PDF document:</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; a title and 250-word abstract (in English) suitable for anonymous review</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; your name\, affiliation\, and contact information</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Use &ldquo\;RRS 2025 Submission&rdquo\; in the subject line of your email</p>\n<p><strong>Submission deadline:&nbsp\;August 4th\, 2025</strong></p>\n<p>Additional information about the conference\, registration\, lodging\, etc. will be posted at&nbsp\;<a href="https://richardrortysociety.org/">https://richardrortysociety.org/</a>&nbsp\;as it becomes available.</p>
