DESCRIPTION:<p>We are happy to announce the CFA for the <strong>9th Stockholm Philosophy Graduate Conference</strong>. The conference will be held exclusively in person <strong>at Stockholm University</strong> on <strong>the 4th and 5th of December 2025</strong>.</p>\n<p>The keynote speakers are <strong>Kristj&aacute\;n Kristj&aacute\;nsson\, </strong>University of Birmingham and <strong>Lucy McDonald\, </strong>King&rsquo\;s College London.</p>\n<p>The conference&rsquo\;s aim is to select and showcase excellent graduate work in philosophy. Submissions within all areas of analytic philosophy are welcome. Selected speakers will be assigned a faculty commentator who will provide comments before a general Q&amp\;A.</p>\n<p><strong>All submission should be sent</strong> <strong>to:&nbsp\;</strong>graduatephilosophy.stockholm@gmail.com</p>\n<p>The headline/subject of your email should <strong>only</strong> <strong>consist of one of the following keywords</strong> that best represents the topic of your submission:</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Ethics (preferably specified if applied ethics\, normative ethics or metaethics)</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Political philosophy</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Social philosophy</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; History of philosophy</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Philosophy of science</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Philosophy of language</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Philosophy of mind</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Epistemology</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Other</p>\n<p><strong>Submissions should include:</strong></p>\n<p>i)&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; An abstract of maximum <strong>800 words</strong> (excluding references)\, <strong>prepared for blind review</strong> and <strong>suitable for a 25-30 min presentation</strong>.</p>\n<p>ii)&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; A cover letter specifying <strong>personal information</strong>\, <strong>affiliation</strong> and <strong>the area of their submission</strong> (history of philosophy\, metaethics\, epistemology\, etc.).</p>\n<p>Selected speakers are expected to provide <strong>a final version of their paper</strong> (3000-5000 words) <strong>one month before the event</strong>\, for the sake of faculty commentary.</p>\n<p>The<strong> deadline for submissions is </strong><strong>1st of May\,</strong> and applicants will be notified about the results early September.
