DESCRIPTION:
Abstract:
\n
In a number of places I&rsquo\;ve defended a version of presentism that I&rsquo\;m calling &lsquo\;Existence Presentism&rsquo\;. In this paper\, I quickly sketch an outline of the view&mdash\;highlighting some of the differences between Existence Presentism and other versions of presentism. I then argue that Existence Presentism probably shouldn&rsquo\;t be classified as a dynamic theory of time\, given certain views about what it is to be dynamic that are often given in the literature. I argue that this doesn&rsquo\;t matter. I close by suggesting that no-one should actively want to be a dynamic theorist.
