DESCRIPTION:<p>SEE EXTENDED DEADLINE.</p>\n<p>Saint Louis University&rsquo\;s Philosophy Graduate Student Association welcomes submissions from graduate students writing on topics at the intersection of epistemology and philosophy of religion.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The conference will be held in person on 18-19 September 2025 at Saint Louis University. In addition to student presentations\, there will be two keynote presentations by Hud Hudson (Western Washington University) and Eleonore Stump (Saint Louis University).</p>\n<p>The conference theme is <strong>Epistemic Problems in Religion.</strong></p>\n<p>Relevant topics include (but are not limited to):</p>\n<ul>\n<li>The rationality and nature of religious belief</li>\n<li>Reformed Epistemology</li>\n<li>Skeptical Theism</li>\n<li>Divine hiddenness</li>\n<li>Problems raised by religious pluralism</li>\n<li>The reliability of testimony reporting miracles</li>\n<li>Religious revelation and experiences</li>\n<li>Mysticism and rational belief</li>\n<li>Epistemological questions raised by specific religious doctrines</li>\n<li>Religious reasons and action theory</li>\n<li>Other topics dealing with religion\, rationality\, and knowledge.&nbsp\;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We welcome submissions from all religious traditions and philosophical backgrounds.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Submission Guidelines:</p>\n<p>Submissions should be less than 3500 words\, prepared for blind review\, and accompanied by a separate cover page containing the author&rsquo\;s name\, affiliation\, paper title\, word count\, and an abstract of 350 words or fewer.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Please send all submissions to pgsa.conf@slu.edu. Format the subject line of your email as follows:</p>\n<p>SLUGRADCONF 2025 - [your name] - [your paper title].</p>\n<p>You must be enrolled in a graduate program at the time of&nbsp\;submission. Current SLU students are&nbsp\;ineligible.</p>\n<p>Important Dates:</p>\n<p>**The submission deadline has been extended to <strong>30</strong><strong>&nbsp\;June 2025</strong>.</p>\n<p>Applicants should have a response by <strong>18 July 2025</strong>.</p>
