It takes a broadly critical view of Malabou&rsquo\;s argument that contemporary philosophy condemns itself to irrelevance if it does not engage with recent work in neuroscience.</p>\n<p>BIO: Christopher Watkin is a senior lecturer in French at Monash University. His latest book is <em>Difficult Atheism: Post-Theological Thinking in Alain Badiou\, Jean-Luc Nancy and Quentin Meillassoux</em>\, and he is currently working on a project entitled <em>The Human Remains\,</em>&nbsp\;about contemporary French philosophical anthropology.</p>
