DESCRIPTION:
In the context of an increasingly complex and globally interconnected world characterized by cultural\, political\, and religious diversity\, where armed and religious conflicts are becoming unending realities\, the concept of peace requires a profound re-evaluation from both philosophical and theological perspectives. The conference aims to explore new paradigms for understanding peace in a multipolar world order where power is distributed among multiple global actors. It proposes an interdisciplinary approach that combines classical philosophical theories of peace with multi-religious theological perspectives in order to formulate a conceptual and practical framework that promotes dialogue\, coexistence and tolerance. The impact of geopolitical transformations on the dynamics of interreligious interaction in the 21st century highlights the need for a theological rethinking of the contribution that religion can make to the promotion of peace. The conference proposes a collaborative model of analysis\, based on the synergies created by different spiritual and ethical traditions\, that offers a viable alternative to the prevailing conflict visions. In conclusion\, redefining peace requires not only a paradigm shift in political thinking\, but also a revision of the fundamental assumptions - theological\, philosophical - that underpin our understanding of peaceful coexistence. With a multilateral approach (theology\, philosophy\, psychology\, education)\, the conference aims to stimulate debates and initiatives that could contribute to the construction of a new architecture of peace that is relevant at the local and global levels.
\n
Panels:
\n
\n
\n
Redefining peace in the context of global multipolarity: philosophical and theological paradigms.
\n
\n
\n
Interdisciplinary synergies and collaborative methods: philosophy\, theology\, psychology\, sociology in promoting peace\, dialog and coexistence.
\n
\n
\n
The role of religious politics in reducing conflict and supporting peace initiatives.
\n
\n
\n
Impact of geopolitical changes on inter-religious relations and how they can contribute to peace.
\n
\n
\n
The relevance of education in shaping a new architecture of peace\, locally and globally.
\n
\n
