DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Call for Registration</strong></p>\n<p><strong>You can register here https://www.pt-ai.org/2025/registration-travel/</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Biannual Conference on the Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence (PhAI 2025)</strong><br>Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam | 23 + 24 October 2025</p>\n<p>We are delighted to invite submissions for the 6th Conference on the Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence\, an event designed to explore the philosophical implications and challenges presented by artificial intelligence.&nbsp\; Keynote speakers:&nbsp\;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mona Simion</li>\n<li>Markus Kneer</li>\n<li>Emily Sullivan</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Submission Guidelines:<br><br>We seek short papers (3\,000&ndash\;4\,000 words\, excluding bibliography) that engage critically with the following topics\, broadly conceived:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>AI and Authorship</li>\n<li>AI and consciousness</li>\n<li>The future of work in an AI-driven economy</li>\n<li>The philosophical underpinnings of machine learning</li>\n<li>Autonomy\, responsibility\, and AI</li>\n<li>The nature of intelligence: Human vs. Artificial</li>\n<li>Bias\, fairness\, and transparency in AI systems</li>\n<li>AI and influence on belief\, evidence\, intellectual character &nbsp\;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>After an initial screening\, all relevant submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review by an expert panel. Selected papers will be presented at the conference\, after which authors will have the opportunity to revise their work for publication.&nbsp\; Final versions of the accepted papers will be published in a special proceedings issue of the diamond open-access journal Philosophy of AI:https://journals.ub.uni-koeln.de/index.php/phai/index&nbsp\; We anticipate space for around 30 paper presentations in two parallel sessions. In addition to paper presentations\, we will also host a poster session\, with space for up to 30 posters.
