DESCRIPTION:<p>Call for Papers</p>\n\n<p>The 8th Finnish-Hungarian Seminar in Early Modern Philosophy at Heidelberg</p>\n<p>Early Modern Philosophy and Post-Kantian Philosophy</p>\n<p>22&ndash\;23 September 2025\, University of Heidelberg</p>\n\n<p>Submission deadline: June 1</p>\n\n<p>In a joint effort by philosophers in Finland and Hungary\, the Seminar was founded to promote international cooperation among scholars of seventeenth- and eighteenth-century philosophy and later turned into a traveling event organized by different departments around Europe. The previous meeting was held in 2024 in Vienna at the Central European University. This will be the eighth meeting in a continuing series of seminars.</p>\n\n<p>We invite prospective participants to send an anonymized abstract of about 500 words in .pdf format on any topic in early modern philosophy to fhsemp2025@gmail.com no later than the 1st of June. We are especially interested in submissions concerning the connections between early modern and post-Kantian philosophy\, broadly construed. Please\, indicate your name\, university affiliation\, and the title of your paper in the body of your email message.&nbsp\;</p>\n\n<p>Completed papers should aim at a reading time of 40 minutes or less.
