This includes papers on general issues about what discrimination is and/or what makes it wrong\, as well as papers on more specific issues such as affirmative action or algorithmic discrimination.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The workshop will be held at&nbsp\;<strong>Yale University</strong>&nbsp\;on&nbsp\;<strong>April 17&ndash\;19</strong>. There will be limited funds available to cover travel and accommodation. We will send a form assessing participants&rsquo\; needs and available funds shortly after we have confirmed the conference attendees.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Papers accepted to the workshop will be eligible for publication in a&nbsp\;<strong>special issue of&nbsp\;<em>Philosophical Studies</em></strong>. Authors of accepted papers are encouraged\, but not required\, to submit their papers to this special issue.</p>\n<p>Abstracts should be no greater than&nbsp\;<strong>2\,500 words</strong>&nbsp\;(inclusive of all footnotes but exclusive of the bibliography) and should clearly explain the main issue and central contribution of a paper that can be presented in 45 minutes. The title of the paper should be the file name of the submission\, as well as included&nbsp\;within<strong>&nbsp\;</strong>the document above the abstract. Abstract should be anonymized and submitted as .pdfs by&nbsp\;<strong>August 31\, 2025</strong>&nbsp\;to&nbsp\;discriminationworkshop@gmail.com. There is a limit of one submission per person.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Authors of especially strong abstracts not selected for the workshop will be invited to serve as commentators for a session. In order to facilitate this\, we expect authors of accepted papers to send their commentators a draft of their full paper by March 1st.</p>
