DESCRIPTION:<p>The 12th annual<br> <strong>Logic\, Mathematics\, and Physics Graduate Philosophy\nConference</strong><br> will take place on <strong>Sunday-Monday\, May 20-21</strong>\, 2012\, at the<br> <strong>University of Western Ontario</strong><br> in London\, Ontario\, Canada.<br> <br> We are pleased to announce that<br> <strong>Hartry Field (New York University)</strong><br> will be giving the keynote address.<br> <strong><br> </strong>The\nconference\nis held in conjunction with the&nbsp\;<strong>Annual UWO Conference in\nthe Philosophy of Science</strong>\, taking place on May 18-19. LMP attendees\nare invited to join us for\nthis conference.<br> <br> <strong>Call for Papers</strong><br> <br> Graduate students are invited to submit papers on any\ntopic in&nbsp\;<strong>logic</strong>\,&nbsp\;<strong>philosophy\nof logic</strong>\,&nbsp\;<strong>philosophy of mathematics</strong>\, and <strong>philosophy of\nphysics</strong>.<br> <br> Papers\nin philosophy of physics will be considered for the 9th Annual Clifton\nMemorial book prize. The contest will be adjudicated by philosophy of\nscience faculty members at Western.<br> <br> We recommend that papers be no longer than <strong>5000\nwords</strong> as presentations will\nbe limited to 30-35 minutes and will be followed by a 20-minute period\nof discussion. Please submit papers by email (preferably\nas a .pdf attachment) by&nbsp\;<strong>February 23rd\,\n2012</strong>. They should be prepared\nfor blind review\, and\nshould be accompanied by an&nbsp\;<strong>abstract</strong>&nbsp\;(no\nlonger than 300 words) as well as a cover sheet containing the author&rsquo\;s\nname\, institutional affiliation\, title of the paper\, regular and email\naddresses\, and telephone number(s).
