We are delighted to announce a daylong event at the CUNY Graduate Center\, New York\, honoring the exceptional career and philosophical achievements of Professor Michael Devitt\, who taught at the Graduate Center from 1999-2023. In addition to producing outstanding philosophical work\, Michael rebuilt the CUNY PhD Program in philosophy and set up the Saul Kripke Center\, making the Graduate Center a magnet for philosophers and logicians working in the philosophy of language\, the philosophy of mind\, metaphysics and the philosophy of mathematics.
\nPlease join us on May 16 for a day of talks\, reminiscences and good cheers with Michael&rsquo\;s colleagues\, students and friends. Proceedings will begin at 9:30 AM with coffee. A buffet lunch will be served at 1:30 PM\, and a reception will be held at 6:30 PM. The spaces between drinks and food will be filled by short talks about Michael&rsquo\;s work and reminiscences that might well stray from matters academic.
