DESCRIPTION:<p>Philosophical practices<br><br>Philosophical practices\, which generally aim to create space for multidimensional thinking\, have found fertile ground in various countries for the renewal of philosophy&mdash\;both through the rediscovery of ancient traditions and the experimentation with innovative methods. Since the late 20th century\, Italy has witnessed a notable flourishing of philosophical practice\, with initiatives ranging from individual philosophical counselling to group practices within various organisations\, as well as the promotion of innovative teaching methods and the cross-fertilisation of different fields of human knowledge.</p>\n<p>This period of growth has been shaped by several key models that defined the landscape of 20th-century philosophical practice: Leonard Nelson&rsquo\;s&nbsp\;<em>Sokratisches Gespr&auml\;ch</em>\, which emphasizes the collective development of critical thinking\; Matthew Lipman&rsquo\;s&nbsp\;<em>Philosophy for Children</em>\, which introduces a philosophy curriculum into schools\; Gerd Achenbach&rsquo\;s&nbsp\;<em>Philosophische Praxis</em>\, which employs philosophy as a tool for existential support\; and Marc Sautet&rsquo\;s&nbsp\;<em>Caf&eacute\;-Philo</em>\, which encourages collective discussion and the playful engagement with concepts.</p>\n<p>More than twenty-five years have passed since the founding of the first Italian associations dedicated to philosophical practice. The journal &ldquo\;Filosofia&rdquo\; seeks to promote an analysis of the current state of the field and to provide a comprehensive overview of its development. This issue explores how philosophical practices contribute to shaping the identity of philosophy and their impact on the contemporary socio-cultural context.</p>\n<p>Contributions may address\, but are not limited to\, one or more of the following topics:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Philosophical practices and philosophy: Exploration of experiences aimed at renewing philosophy through the development of dialogical and reflective practices in educational\, therapeutic\, socio-political\, professional\, or other contexts.</li>\n<li>Philosophical practices and other forms of knowledge: Examination of the interactions philosophical practices have established&mdash\;or could establish&mdash\;with other disciplines\, either in general terms or in relation to specific issues.</li>\n<li>Protagonists and places: Analysis of key figures and contexts\, both institutional and informal\, that have contributed to the dissemination and consolidation of philosophical practices\, with particular attention to the Italian context.</li>\n<li>Methodology and themes: In-depth analysis of the methods employed in philosophical practices and the methodologies guiding their application\; exploration of the central themes they address.</li>\n<li>Goals and results: Evaluation of the effectiveness of philosophical practices in relation to their stated objectives\, including quantitative assessments where applicable.</li>\n<li>Practical experience: Presentation and analysis of concrete case studies\, from theoretical conception to practical implementation.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Rules for submitting contributions</p>\n<p>1)&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Submission of contribution proposal</p>\n<p>&ndash\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Please submit an abstract of approximately 200 words in Italian or English to the following address:&nbsp\;redazionefilosofia.dfe@unito.it</a></p>\n<p>&ndash\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Abstract submission deadline:&nbsp\;September 1\, 2025</p>\n<p>&ndash\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Notifications of acceptance of contribution proposal will be e-mailed to the corresponding author by September 15\, 2025</p>\n\n<p>2)&nbsp\; &nbsp\; Full paper submission</p>\n<p>&ndash\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Please submit your paper to the following address:&nbsp\;redazionefilosofia.dfe@unito.it</a></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Language: Italian or English</li>\n<li>Maximum length:&nbsp\;40\,000 characters&nbsp\;(blank spaces\, footnotes and bibliography included)</li>\n<li>For each contribution\, please ensure submission of:<br><br>a) A .doc file (no pdf or other formats) prepared for a blind referee.
