DESCRIPTION:<p>Call for Abstracts\, Indiana Philosophical Association Fall 2025 Conference</p>\n<p>Friday\, October 31st&nbsp\;and November\, 1st&nbsp\;2025</p>\n<p>Indiana University\, Bloomington</p>\n<p><em>Keynote Speaker</em><em>&nbsp\;</em></p>\n<p><strong>Allen Wood</strong></p>\n<p><em>Ruth Norman Halls Professor of Philosophy</em></p>\n<p><em>Indiana University</em></p>\n<p><strong>Abstracts:</strong></p>\n<p>The Indiana Philosophical Association will hold its annual Fall Conference at Indiana University\, Bloomington. For this meeting\, we invite submissions in&nbsp\;<u>any area</u>&nbsp\;of philosophy. Submitted abstracts should be:</p>\n<p>(i) between 150-300 words in length\,&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>(ii) prepared for blind review\, and&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>(iii) accompanied by a separate document that includes the title and the author&rsquo\;s information (<u>name\, affiliation\, and contact information</u>).</p>\n<p>Materials should be submitted to IPA Secretary and Treasurer\, Brian Chance\, at&nbsp\;ipaconferencesubmissions@gmail.com. Please make sure to include &ldquo\;IPA Fall 2025 Submission&rdquo\; in the subject line.&nbsp\;Suggestions for commentators and session chairs (including self-nominations) are also welcome and encouraged.<strong>&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Graduate Paper Prize</strong>:&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The IPA will present an award to the best paper submitted by an graduate student\, and the student will be invited to present their paper at the workshop. The award will be accompanied by a cash prize of $100. Papers submitted for the competition should be identified as such on the title sheet\, and they should be submitted by a faculty sponsor.</p>\n<p><strong>David McCarty Prize in Logic:</strong></p>\n<p>This prize is awarded in honor of David McCarty in recognition of outstanding work in logic and the philosophy of mathematics. The winner will receive a cash prize of $100. Absent suitable submissions\, the IPA reserves the right not to award the prize.</p>\n<p><strong>Deadline for Submissions</strong>: 1 September 2025</p>\n<p><strong>Deadline for Notifications</strong>: 1 October 2025</p>
