DESCRIPTION:<p>The graduate students of the University of California\, Riverside (Department of Philosophy) and the University of California\, Irvine (Department of Philosophy &amp\; Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science) invite submissions for the 2025 UCR-UCI Graduate Philosophy Conference. The conference will be held&nbsp\;<em>in-person&nbsp\;</em>on October 25\, 2025\, at UC Irvine.</p>\n<p>We welcome submissions from current graduate students in philosophy.* Each selected paper will receive in-person comments delivered after their presentation. Limited funds are available to help offset travel costs for selected papers.</p>\n<p>Keynote Speaker:</p>\n<p>Mark Schroeder (University of Southern California)</p>\n<p>Submission Guidelines</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Papers must be no more than 4\,000 words\, excluding footnotes and bibliography.</li>\n<li>Submissions must be anonymized for blind review and in PDF format.</li>\n<li>File name format: UCRUCI2025_*Papertitle*</li>\n<li>Include an abstract of no more than 300 words and 4-5 keywords at the beginning of the paper.</li>\n<li>In the body of the submission email\, please indicate:</li>\n<ul>\n<li>Full Name</li>\n<li>Pronouns (optional)</li>\n<li>Institutional Affiliation</li>\n<li>Paper title</li>\n<li>Contact Email</li>\n<li>(Optional) A note if you identify as a member of an underrepresented group in philosophy</li>\n</ul>\n</ul>\n<p>Submission Deadline: August 1\, 2025 at 5pm (Pacific Time)</p>\n<p>Notification of Acceptance: Late August/Early September</p>\n<p>Send questions and submissions to&nbsp\;<a href="mailto:ucrucigradconference@gmail.com">ucrucigradconference@gmail.com</a></p>\n<p>*Submissions from the graduate students from UC Riverside or UC Irvine will not be considered for acceptance.</p>
