DESCRIPTION:<p>The Third World Logic Prizes Contest is a competition that will take place during UNILOG 2025 between winners of Logic Prizes from many countries. Each winner of a given country will have his&nbsp\; paper published in the journal Logica Universalis and 30 mn (including discussion) to present the work for which he/she&nbsp\; has won the prize in his/her&nbsp\; country. A Jury of about 10 important logicians from all over the world will at the end of the presentations decide who is the winner of the Universal Logic Prize.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>This is part of the project "A prize of logic in every country"\, promoted by LUA\, the Logica Universalis Assiciation. 21 countries are currently registered\, it is still possible to register new countries for this contest.</p>\n<p>The 1st World Logic Prizes Contest took place at UNILOG 2018 in Vichy\, France. The papers presented at this contest were published in a special issue of&nbsp\; Logica Universalis: vol.12\, issue 3-4\, 2018. The winner was&nbsp\;Ivan Varzinczak\, participant of the contest as the Winner of the Louis Couturat Prize of Logic for France\, with the paper "A Description Logic of Concept and Role Typicality for Defeasible Reasoning Over Ontologies."</p>\n<p>The 2nd World Logic Prizes Contest took place at UNILOG 2022 in Crete. The papers presented at this contest were published in a special issue of&nbsp\; Logica Universalis: vol.16\, issue 1-2\, 2022.&nbsp\; &nbsp\;The winner was Ciro Russo\, participant of the contest as the Winner of the Newton da Costa Prize of Logic for Brazil\, with the paper "Coproduct and amalgamation of deductive systems by means of ordered algebras."</p>
