Call For Papers
\n47th \;Annual Graduate Philosophy Conference
\nGraduate students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invite current graduate students to submit works for presentation in any area of philosophy\, with priority given to papers related to \;action theory \;and \;practical philosophy.
\nAll submitted papers should: (i) not exceed 3\,000 words (not including abstracts\, footnotes\, and references)\, (ii) be preceded by a 200-word abstract\, and (iii) be prepared for blind review.
\nAccepted papers will have 20 minutes to be presented followed by a 10-minute comment period and a 20-minute Q&\;A session. Each paper will be assigned a graduate student commentator.
\nEssay Price: The best paper will receive a price of $100.
\nThe conference will be held in person at the University of Illinois in Urbana- Champaign on March 6th \;and 7th\, 2026.
