DESCRIPTION:<p>The 49th Annual Ancient Philosophy Workshop will take place on March 27th and 28th\, 2026 at the University of Texas at Austin.&nbsp\;</p>\n\n<p>The conference will consist of presentations on topics in ancient philosophy\, with a keynote address by Christopher Frey (University of Tulsa). We are inviting submissions of original research on topics in ancient Greek or Roman philosophy. Our aim is to present a diverse range of research\, so we encourage novelty and originality in submissions.</p>\n\n<p>The submission details are as follows:</p>\n\n<p>SUBMISSION DEADLINE: December 15\, 2025\, 11:59 pm CST.</p>\n\n<p>SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Each abstract submitted should be 300-500 words. The paper should be suitable for a 45-minute presentation. A 30-minute Q&amp\;A session will follow each presentation.</p>\n\n<p>Please submit as two separate PDF files: (i) your anonymized abstract (the name of the file should be the title of your paper)\; and (ii) a cover letter including: your name\, institutional affiliation\, position at said institution\, and email address\, and the title of your paper here &ndash\; https://utexas.app.box.com/f/b75f2fafebc342deb2efdc6588fb9cee &ndash\; by December 15\, 2025\, 11:59 pm CST.</p>\n\n<p>Authors of accepted papers will be notified by January.
