This conference is being organised to mark the founding of the International Hans Jonas Society. It will take place in several places \;around the world at the same time: In addition to the University of Siegen\, colleagues in Rome\, Curitiba (Brazil) among others. The conference will be held as a hybrid event from 6-8 November 2025.

The International Hans Jonas Society has set itself the goal of networking the research carried out in many places that is focussed on Hans Jonas and his concerns. This is not only about researching his work\, but also and above all about the question of how the responsibility for the future\, which Jonas vigorously demanded\, can be recognised and assumed today. Renowned researchers from various disciplines will give the keynote speeches.
