Scripturae Interpres\, 1666)\; the anonymous Lucii Antistii Constantis De Jure Ecclesiasticorum\, Liber Singularis (1665\, also probably by Meyer)\, and Adriaan Koerbagh (Een Bloemhof van allerley lieflijkheyd\, 1668\, Een Ligt schynende in duystere plaatsen\, 1668). The conference will focus on their political philosophy as well as their philosophy of religion in order to assess their contributions to the development of radical movements (republicanism/anti-monarchism\, critique of religion\, atheism) in the Enlightenment. </p>\n<p>Speakers: Roberto Bordoli (Urbino)\, Wiep van Bunge (Rotterdam)\, Sabine Funke&nbsp\; (Karlsruhe)\, Jonathan Israel (Princeton)\, Henri Krop (Rotterdam)\, Bart Leeuwenburgh (Rotterdam)\, Omero Proietti (Macerata)\, Piet Steenbakkers (Utrecht)\, Stefano Visentin (Urbino)\, Michiel Wielema (Rotterdam). </p>\n<p>The conference is funded by the DEUTSCHE FORSCHUNGSGEMEINSCHAFT.
