DESCRIPTION:<p>The annual one-day conference of the UK Sartre Society will be held on 19 September. (Venue to be announced\, but it will be in London.)<br> <br> The theme of this year's conference is Sartre\, Existentialism\, and Political Thought. Our keynote speaker will be Ronald Aronson.</p>\n<p>We welcome abstracts of proposed papers on the conference theme. Papers discussing other areas of Sartre's life and work will also be considered. The proposed papers should take no more than 30 minutes to present. Abstracts should be no more than 500 words.<br> <br> Please email paper abstracts by 15 May 2014 to the Secretary of the UK Sartre Society\, Dr Jonathan <a href="mailto:Webber%3Awebberj1@cardiff.ac.uk">Webber:webberj1@cardiff.ac.uk</a><br> <br> The selection will be announced by 1 June.</p>
