We will provide a limited number of small travel awards for accepted students who need some assistance attending the conference.</p>\n<p>We invite submissions in any area of philosophy\, including but not limited to: Social and Political Philosophy\, Philosophy of Race and Gender\, Social Ontology\, Feminist and Trans Philosophy\, Latin American Philosophy\, African Philosophy\, Caribbean Philosophy\, Indigenous Philosophy\, Asian Philosophy\, History of Philosophy\, Ethics\, Applied Ethics\, Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence\, Philosophy of Sports\, Critical Theory\, Continental Philosophy\, Metaphysics and Epistemology\, Philosophy of Language\, Philosophy of Logic\, Philosophy of Science\, Philosophy of Mind\, Aesthetics\, and Public Philosophy.</p>\n<p>Each session will involve a 20-minute presentation\, 10-minute commentary\, and 20-minute Q&amp\;A.</p>\n<p><strong>Keynote Speaker:</strong></p>\n<p>Thomas Noah\, University of Pennsylvania\, Philosophy\, Politics\, and Economics</p>\n<p><strong>Submission Guidelines:</strong></p>\n<p>Please email the following to umassbostonphilosophy@gmail.comby end-of-day January 25\, 2026:</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; A 2000-3000 word paper (.docx or .pdf) <strong>prepared for anonymous review</strong>.</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; In the main body of the email please include (i) your first and last name\, (ii) paper title\, (iii) paper abstract\, (iv) institution\, and (v) whether you would like to be considered for a travel award.
