DESCRIPTION:<p>The Society for Philosophy of AI (<a href="https://phai.ac/">https://phai.ac/</a>) is pleased to announce a workshop on&nbsp\;<em>Methods in the Philosophy of AI</em>\, featuring&nbsp\;<strong>Herman Cappelen</strong>&nbsp\;(HKU) and&nbsp\;<strong>Ren&eacute\; van Woudenberg</strong>&nbsp\;(Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam).</p>\n<p>The workshop will take place on&nbsp\;<strong>16 January 2026</strong>&nbsp\;at&nbsp\;<strong>Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam</strong>\, Amsterdam\, The Netherlands.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The focus will be on methodological issues in the Philosophy of AI\, including conceptual analysis\, conceptual engineering\, and the role of ethical and political values and goals regarding conceptual assessment.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The workshop is hosted by the&nbsp\;<strong>Department of Philosophy\, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam</strong>\, and is intended for researchers and PhD students working in the Philosophy of AI and related areas. Main organizers are Tamara Dobler\, Guido L&ouml\;hr\, and Celine Henne.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>In-person participation is limited.
