DESCRIPTION:<p>We are pleased to announce the upcoming&nbsp\;<strong>Philosophy and Emotion&nbsp\;Conference&nbsp\;at Nottingham</strong>\, to be held<strong> in person</strong> on the&nbsp\;17th of&nbsp\;April 2026.</p>\n<p>This event is generously funded by The MIND Association\, seeking to&nbsp\;bring together philosophers&nbsp\;and scholars&nbsp\;who are interested in&nbsp\;exploring&nbsp\;the&nbsp\;significance&nbsp\;of emotion both&nbsp\;within philosophical enquiry and across a range of&nbsp\;other&nbsp\;disciplines.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><u><strong>Topics&nbsp\;</strong></u></p>\n<p>Our invited speakers will present their work on a range of topics which may include but not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>philosophical theories of emotion&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>emotion and ethics&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>emotion and epistemology&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>roles for emotion&nbsp\;in&nbsp\;social and political theories&nbsp\;</p>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>emotion in psychology and mental health research.&nbsp\;</p>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The finalised speaker schedule and additional information will be provided at a later date.
