This workshop is part of the research project "The Ethics of Doubt: Kierkegaard\, Scepticism\, and Conspiracy Theory" funded by an ERC Advanced grant awarded to Professor Genia Schö\;nbaumsfeld\, University of Southampton. \;
\nThe project explores Sø\;ren Kierkegaard&rsquo\;s existential conception of doubt and brings it into dialogue with broader philosophical concerns\, focusing on the relation between the intellectual vices\, such as a lack of intellectual courage\, and various forms of scepticism\, both inside and outside of academia. The project also examines the current epistemic authority crisis\, and philosophical approaches to the problem of conspiracy theory.
\nThe project's third workshop focuses on hinge epistemology and research on conspiracy theory.
