DESCRIPTION:<p>York University&rsquo\;s Philosophy Graduate Students Association is seeking submissions for our 2026 Philosophy Graduate Conference! The conference will take place&nbsp\;<strong>May 7th-8th</strong>\, and we are pleased to announce keynote speakers Jason D&rsquo\;Cruz (University at Albany\, SUNY) and Regina Rini (York).</p>\n<p>The title of this year's conference is&nbsp\;<strong><em>Trust\, Distrust\, and Technology</em></strong>. We especially welcome submissions that explore how various technologies impact our interpersonal and social relationships of trust and distrust\, including but not limited to artificial intelligence\, neurotechnology\, and social media. We also welcome papers that address more traditional philosophical questions about the nature of trust and distrust\, and about the ethics and epistemology of trust. Topics include (but are not limited to): trust in artificial agents\; the impact of various technologies on interpersonal\, social and political trust\; epistemic trust and how it&rsquo\;s affected by various technologies\; the nature of trust and/or distrust\; the general role of trust in ethics and epistemology.</p>\n<p><strong>Submission guidelines:</strong></p>\n<p>Deadline to submit:&nbsp\;<strong>&nbsp\;February 28\, 2026</strong>.</p>\n<p>Paper submissions are accepted from graduate students and should be approximately 3\,000 words and accompanied by a 250-word abstract. Please submit papers via email to <a href="mailto:danrod@yorku.ca">danrod@yorku.ca</a> with &ldquo\;2026 York Graduate Conference submission&rdquo\; as the subject. All submissions should be anonymized and prepared for blind review. Please include your name\, your affiliation\, and the title of your paper in the body of your email. Acceptance/rejection emails will be sent within three to four weeks following the submission deadline.</p>
