DESCRIPTION:<p>The AAPT invites proposals for interactive\, pedagogy-focused workshops at the 2026 AAPT Workshop-Conference on Teaching Philosophy\, July 23-26\, 2026\, at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti\, MI. <strong>Our deadline has been extended until Friday\, February 13\, 2026.</strong></p>\n<p>https://philosophyteachers.org/cfp-2026-conference/</p>\n<p>The 2026 workshop-conference will be a special celebration of the<strong> 50th anniversary</strong> of our organization\, which was founded in 1976 to improve the quality of philosophy instruction\, promote scholarship in philosophical pedagogy\, and support teachers.</p>\n<p>What is a workshop-conference? AAPT conference sessions are not lectures with slides\, but interactive\, philosophy-specific\,<strong> faculty development sessions</strong> in which each presenter introduces a new or improved pedagogy to an audience of philosphers.
