DESCRIPTION:<p>Call for Papers</p>\n<p>SIUE will be hosting its 9th Annual Undergraduate Philosophy Conference</p>\n<p>The Conference will be held at Morris University Center\, SIUE on October 24th and 25th&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Keynote Speaker: Charlotte Witt Professor of Philosophy at the University of New Hampshire</p>\n<p><strong>Updated Submission Deadline: Sep 5th\, 2014</strong></p>\n<p>The best student papers will be published in Polymath: An Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences Journal (peer-reviewed\, open access)</p>\n<p><strong>Submission Requirements:</strong></p>\n\n<p>&bull\; Submit your paper electronic attachment as a .doc\, .rtf\, or .pdf file to Professor Saba Fatima at <strong>sfatima@siue.edu</strong>. Only electronic submissions will be considered.</p>\n<p>&bull\; Papers in any area of philosophy are welcome.</p>\n<p>&bull\; Students submitting papers must be undergraduates.</p>\n<p>&bull\; In the subject line of the e-mail to Professor Fatima please indicate &ldquo\;Undergraduate Philosophy Conference&rdquo\;</p>\n<p>&bull\; In the body of the message\, please indicate your name\, university\, and email where you wish to be contacted.</p>\n<p>&bull\; Attach to the essay itself a cover page\, which should include the author&rsquo\;s name\, institution\, and email.</p>\n<p>&bull\; Prepare the paper for <strong>blind review</strong>. The author&rsquo\;s name\, institution\, and contact information should only appear on the cover page attached to the essay and in the body of the email submitted to Professor Fatima.</p>\n<p>&bull\; The paper must not exceed 3000 words in length (not counting bibliography and notes).
