Dahlstrom (Boston University)</p>\n<p>Friday\, April 17-Sunday\, April 19\, 2015</p>\n<p>Xavier University\, Cincinnati\, Ohio</p>\n<p>We invite abstracts of 750 words for papers on issues of current interest in German idealism (broadly construed). We welcome submissions addressing figures and topics in German philosophy from 1770-1850\, including canonical figures like Kant\, Fichte\, Schelling\, and Hegel\, and representatives of other movements including German romanticism\, and interpreters and critics of idealism. Papers on any topic will be considered\, however\, papers that take up a particular issue of debate in recent scholarship will be given special consideration.</p>\n<p>While all are welcome to submit\, we will give special consideration to work by early career scholars (tenure-track\, untenured\, post-docs\, and graduate students). We look forward to a three-day meeting of sustained inquiry and discussion among all participants. We anticipate talks of 30 minutes (~4000 words)\, with 30 minutes discussion for each paper. &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Please submit abstracts to brownleet@xavier.edu by November 1\, 2014 that include\, title\, abstract\, contatct information\, and your current position.
