Shapiro Philosophy Graduate Conference</p>\n\n<p>February 20-21\, 2027</p>\n<p>Brown University<br>Providence\, RI</p>\n\n<p>Keynotes:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>David Estlund (Brown University)</p>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Sally Haslanger (Massachusetts Institute of Technology)</p>\n</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>We will prioritize submissions on or related to moral and political philosophy (broadly construed)\, but also welcome submissions of high quality work in any area of philosophy. Presenters should expect to follow roughly this format:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>45 minutes of presentation.</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>10 minutes for comments and an optional response.</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p>35 minutes for questions.</p>\n</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>The submission deadline is October 1\, 2026 at 11:59pm Eastern. Decisions will be sent by early December. Submissions should be prepared for anonymous review\, should not exceed 4\,000 words of body text\, and should include a short abstract of about 200 words. Only one submission per person will be considered.
