DESCRIPTION:<p>Abstract: In this paper\, I argue that ordinary\, rank and file soldiers are liable to punishment for their contribution to large scale crimes of war such as the crime of aggression\, but that there are good reasons not to punish them as we &nbsp\;normally punish murderers in domestic contexts - namely by imprisoning tem. I then offer alternatives to large scale custodial punishment\, such as disqualification and punitive reparations.&nbsp\;</p>
