DESCRIPTION:<p>LSU New Orleans invites all Philosophy students to submit to our first <em>Philosophy Student Conference.</em> We welcome papers from both graduate and undergraduate students. The conference will take place on our campus\, on the Lake Front of New Orleans\, on November 13\, 2026\, at Kirshman Hall.</p>\n<p>Submission Guidelines:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submissions will be in the form of abstracts\, between 250 and 500 words.</li>\n<li>They can be on any topic or any field of philosophy.</li>\n<li>All submissions will be reviewed by a review committee.</li>\n<li>If your submission is accepted\, your presentation will be 20 minutes\, followed by a 10-minute discussion.</li>\n<li>In your email\, please include your name\, your institutional affiliation\, and the stage of your undergraduate or graduate program you are in.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Submission Deadline:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>All submissions need to be sent by <strong>October 1st\, 2026.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Please send submissions to bjaguda2@uno.edu</a>and sbizarro@uno.edu</p>\n<p><em>Note: This event will be held in person\; there will be no virtual/remote presentation sessions.</em></p>
