DESCRIPTION:<p>The biannual Philosophy group meeting for the Society for the Study of Early Modern Women and Gender (SSEMWG) will be held at the Central APA's 2027 meeting in Denver\, CO from Feb 24-27.</p>\n<p>Work in any sub-area of early modern philosophy which contributes to creative scholarship on/about/from non-canonical figures is encouraged. Past meetings have included excellent work by graduate students\, junior faculty\, and senior scholars in the field. Undergraduates are welcome to attend as a session chair or commenter.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>Abstracts</strong> (around 300-500 words) are due by <u><strong>August 15</strong></u>. Please submit abstracts\, or indicate interest in chairing/commenting by email to organizer Jill Hernandez\,<u> jill.hernandez@ttu.edu</u>. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by <u><strong>August 31</strong></u>.</p>\n<p>Membership in SSEMWG is not required to attend\, nor to submit a paper. Travel bursaries for graduate student participants are available on a competitive basis!
