The serious international situation we are experiencing suggests that we should explore the scope of contemporary dialogue in relation to Immanuel Kant&rsquo\;s work. His texts on the philosophy of history\, his writings on practical matters and the inspiration behind his theoretical approach all demonstrate a clear commitment to peace as the only appropriate framework for coexistence in line with the aspirations of human reason. According to Kant\, reason demands that the Kampfplatz be followed by lasting peace. To what extent are his ideas still relevant today? How can Kantian thought shed light on the current situation? How can his work\, written in eighteenth-century Kö\;nigsberg\, contribute to our era\, in which we are witnessing serious political and legal setbacks such as the Russian invasion of Ukraine\, Hamas terrorism\, the barbarism unleashed by Israel in Gaza\, the violence perpetrated by organised crime through groups such as drug cartels\, and the erosion of the democratic system by Donald Trump&rsquo\;s government in the United States?
\nWe welcome all original contributions that explore these issues within the framework of Kantian thought and its critical reinterpretation. The deadline for submissions on the OJS platform is 11 September 2026. Original manuscripts can be submitted in any of the REK&rsquo\;s languages (Spanish\, German\, Valencian/Catalan\, English\, French\, Italian and Portuguese). To be considered\, submissions must follow the guidelines for authors (pp. 190 ff.).
\nEach submission will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Notification of acceptance will be given by 11 January 2027. The monograph is scheduled for publication in the spring issue on 22 April 2027.
