DESCRIPTION:In February of 2027 we (Joe Ulatowski [University of Waikato] and myself\, M R. X. Dentith [Beijing Normal University]) will be running the third "Conspiracies\, Facts\, and Truth” workshop at the University of Waikato\, Aotearoa New Zealand.\n\nDates: February 10\, 2026 - February 12\, 2027\n\nThe aim of this workshop series is to share new work on the philosophy of conspiracy theory theory\, the value of truth and facts in public discourse more generally\, and related topics.\n\nWe are interested in philosophical talks (both full presentations as well as shorter work-in-progress talks) concerning conspiracy theory theory\, fake news\, post truth\, mis-\, dis- and malinformation (and other related subjects).\n\nWe are accepting proposals for both in person and online presentations\, with a preference towards in person talks.\n\nIf you are interested in joining us and sharing your work\, please email either Joe Ulatowski (joe.ulatowski@waikato.ac.nz) or M R. X. Dentith (m.dentith@bnu.edu.cn) with the title and short 150-word abstract of your work\, as well as an indication as to whether this is a full paper or a work-in-progress\, by the 1st December\, 2026.\n\nSpace is limited\, so please contact the organisers as soon as possible.
