DESCRIPTION:<p>&lsquo\;The Collective Discussions&rsquo\; is an online workshop created by The Collective: Women in Legal Philosophy. It meets several times a year. The aim is to discuss pre-read papers that overlap key themes in legal\, moral and political philosophy. Attendance at the 90-minute sessions is free and open to all.</p>\n<p>The theme of the Spring 2027 Discussions series is normativity\, practical reasoning and law.&nbsp\; The series will explore ways in which the concepts of normativity and/or practical reason bear on and illuminate vexing fundamental questions in legal philosophy.</p>\n<p>Women are cordially invited to submit an anonymized 1\,000 word abstract by emailing Barbara Levenbook (bbl@ncsu.edu) with "Collective Discussions Spring 2027" in the subject line of the email.
