DESCRIPTION:<p>The 2014 meeting of the Iowa Philosophical Society will be held at Iowa State University in Ames\, Iowa on Saturday\, November 15.&nbsp\; The keynote address will be delivered by Roy Sorenson (Washington University).&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Papers on any philosophical topic are welcome.&nbsp\;Abstracts (of approximately 500 words) are to be submitted by e-mail to Professor David Alexander (<a target="_blank">alexand@iastate.edu</a>) by October 10\, 2014.&nbsp\;Papers should be approximately 3\,000 words long with a reading time of no more than 25 minutes.<br></p>\n<p>Questions about submitting an abstract may be directed to Professor David Alexander (<a target="_blank">alexand@iastate.edu</a>).&nbsp\;Questions about the venue or accommodations may be directed to Professor Annemarie Butler (<a target="_blank">butlera@iastate.edu</a>).</p>\n<p>Further details may be found on the society's website:</p>
