DESCRIPTION:<p>This conference seeks to\nfoster philosophical discussion among the many philosophers at institutions in\nand surrounding Pittsburgh\, and to encourage philosophers from any geographic\nlocation to participate in this vibrant community.</p>\n<p>The morning sessions will\nconsist of four concurrent working groups\, organized roughly on the themes of\nEthics\, Analytic Philosophy\, Continental Philosophy and History. Those wishing\nto have a working paper considered for discussion need only submit an abstract\n(200 words max)\, and be willing\, if selected\, to make the full paper available\nto conference participants by August 15.</p>\n<p>The afternoon sessions will\ninclude APA-style colloquium papers (20 minute paper followed by a commentary\nand general discussion). To apply for one of these sessions\, please submit a\nblinded paper of 3000 words or less with an abstract (200 words max).
