DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>SoPheRE</strong><strong>CALL FOR PAPER AND PANEL PROPOSALS</strong> <strong>2027 Pacific Division Meeting of the American Philosophical Association</strong></p>\n<p>March 24&ndash\;27\, 2027 | Portland\, Oregon</p>\n<p>Submission Deadline: October 6\, 2026</p>\n<p>The <strong>Society for the Phenomenology of Religious Experience (SoPheRE)</strong> invites paper and panel proposals for its session at the 2027 American Philosophical Association Pacific Division Meeting.</p>\n<p>We welcome proposals addressing <strong>phenomenological philosophical approaches to philosophy of religion\, comparative religion\, and world religions</strong>.</p>\n<p>Submission Guidelines</p>\n<p><strong>Individual papers:</strong> Submit an abstract of <strong>200&ndash\;300 words</strong>. A completed paper may also be included. Presentations will be approximately 20&ndash\;30 minutes.</p>\n<p><strong>Panel proposals:</strong> Submit a <strong>150-word introduction</strong> describing the panel theme and title\, together with <strong>200&ndash\;300-word abstracts for each paper</strong>.</p>\n<p>All submissions should include each presenter&rsquo\;s:</p>\n<p>&middot\;Full name</p>\n<p>&middot\;Institutional affiliation and location (state/province or country)</p>\n<p>&middot\;Email address</p>\n<p>&middot\;Paper title in Title Case</p>\n<p>Membership in SoPheRE is not required for submission or acceptance. However\, accepted presenters must become current SoPheRE members before the session information is submitted to the APA.
