DESCRIPTION:<p>We invite you to submit to the North American Association for Philosophy and Education Annual Conference. Submissions are due by 1 July 2027 at 11:59 PM CT (UTC -5). NAAPE is a residential philosophy conference held annually just outside Chicago. The purpose of NAAPE is to provide a welcoming and humane environment where scholars and educators can engage in meaningful philosophical dialogue. In addition to full papers\, NAAPE accepts panel proposals and author-meets-critics proposals. We welcome submissions in any area related to philosophy and education and encourage submissions from all traditions of philosophy. Each submission must have some bearing on education\, and we only accept papers that are written in clear\, straightforward prose.&nbsp\; Papers may be of any length and may be formatted as a standard article or as a book chapter. NAAPE accepts submissions in English\, Spanish\, or French\, but presentations are to be given in English. NAAPE is pleased to accept submissions that are simultaneously under review or in press at academic journals\, but we cannot accept papers that have been published prior to submission.&nbsp\; For an indication of the kind of conference NAAPE is\, please check out our past programs at naape.org/en/past-programs. Finally\, NAAPE is pleased to offer an annual Outstanding Paper Prize of $500.</p>
